RIS & PACS, All In One Database

Radius hosts RIS and PACS software in our redundant data center. Each customer’s implementation of RIS and PACS can be customized to meet individual business requirements. This is accomplished by installing the latest version of the software on a dedicated VMware server.  Radius then configures the RIS/PACS software to the way you operate your practice to make you more efficient.

The RIS/PACS system is a single database application that enables hospitals and outpatient facilities to operate their imaging department efficiently by providing a software solution consistent in the functionality and “look and feel”. This reduces data entry, eliminating errors and increases consistency throughout your radiology department. Applications are run entirely in one screen without having to minimize and navigate from one application to another.

The RIS/PACS features include:

  • Single Database for the RIS and PACS
  • Graphical Calendar
  • Fully Customizable Unified Worklist
  • Meaningful Use Certification

RIS/PACS Graphical Calendar

The RIS software includes an easy to use graphical calendar.  The calendar can be configured to show views by day, week, and month. This layout is ideal for scheduling patients, blocking out times and managing multiple modalities at all of your facilities.

After the front desk enters all the patient demographic information and scans any additional paper work, the patient flows into worklist.

Customized Worklist

The RIS/PACS software has a powerful worklist engine and offers a customizable workflow solution to meet your needs. We truly understand worklists, and when it is inefficient, common tasks can become complicated and time consuming to complete.  Our team consults with you on best practices to reduce paper handling and decrease report turnaround times. The worklist steps are based on your needs and goals.

Meaningful Use Certified

Our software has achieved 2011/2012 Complete EHR* ONC-ATCB Certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting providers with Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  ICSA Labs' ONC-ATCB Electronic Health Record program certified our compliance in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
